This Matryoshka doll comes directly from Moscow.

It contains 7 stackable figurines (nesting dolls) crafted of wood, skillfully hand painted and varnished with matte finish. The dolls are signed by the artist. The dolls are all hollow except the smallest one, and can hide one inside another. The tallest figurine is about 7 inches.

The painted scene is from "The Snow Queen" fairy tale by Hans Christian Andersen.
