Hello, my name is Lori, I live in Canada on Vancouver Island. I met this Outstanding Gentleman from Russia when he openned his first Business & I have been buying fm him ever since then! This Gentleman's Dolls are 100% Authentic Russian Matroyshka's made by the skilled hands of Russia's Artists with thier well-known Attention to Details that bring these Incredible Matroyshka's to life. I love doing business with this Gentleman because I never ever have to worry about receiving Fakes, mass-produced in a Factory of another Country, never seeing an Artists Paintbrush, and in my personal opinion they are an insult to the Gifted Artists & Craftsmen of Russia and the Ukraine. If your a person who appreciates the immense amount of Artwork that goes into these beautifully crafted Matroyshka's you are getting an incredible amount of Original Artwork for the price you pay here! Please be careful on Auction sites, this is where the fakes are commonly found & all too often the Sellers Advertise them as Matroyshka's from Russia. They are not, and I always stop and write them a note giving them 24 hours to remove the words Russian Matroyshka and any reference to Russia or the Ukraine, before I report them for fraud. However, I'm only one person and for every 1 I see there are many more. That being said, stick with this Gentleman, he will never ever let you down & I'd stake my own Business on that! You can buy the higher end dolls for the Collectors on your Christmas list, or the less costly Matroyshka's for any child, age appropriate. Boys enjoy them just as much as girls do, and many Parents/Grandparents purchase a set of Tinker Toys to go along with any set of dolls for a child who will enjoy making them houses and whatnot like we did as children, some decades ago now, lol. It is fun to see children really play and exercise their creative imaginations with other children, instead of sitting mindless, for hours staring at a screen playing video or computer games, leaving their friends behind, while their childhood is whittled in what seems like the blink of an eye! I have all the time in the World & I sympathize with the worry of today's Parents. CNN Stats conclude that the average child in the USA plays computer or video games at a minimum of 6 hours per day! I know I was very fortunate in having the last generation of children who would not see computers in School or game machines of any kind at home. Those inventions were just on the horizon while my children grew up. The Matroyshkas I buy here are finding their way into many Canadian homes & Parents are thrilled with how much their children enjoy playing with them, making little families out of them, this is all great stuff and just what the Shrink would order, to help your child re-claim their childhood again, & finally playing with their friends again, instead of having them turned away at the door for a Video Game! My friend Alex, will gladly help you with your choices and stear you into the right direction for beautiful Matroyshka's you'd purchase as a piece of Original Artworks, such as a beautiful floral set for the Gardener on your list. Floral Sets are beautiful when displayed on your Cosmetic Table or any blank space that could use an infusion of a gorgeously made Floral Doll in the beautiful 10 peice dolls, and no Babies Nursery is complete without a Fairytale Matroyshka Set on the Dresser that he or she will enjoy when they start staying still long enough to have a nighttime Story read to them. Or many babes will choose a book out of their Toybox with heavy cardboard pages, and run with it to Grandma, to sit on the couch side by side as Grandmom patiently reads the book, as they match the words with the pictures shown to them.
I must share 1 last thing with you. Please think about purchasing a nice Set or Wood Carving made in the Christmas Theme as a Gift for any Family on your list. These will become a Family Treasure that only comes out during the happiest time of year. Both of my Parents died more than 20 years ago now when I was 24, & became Mom to both of my much younger Teenage Sisters. I have 2 older brothers 9 years older than me & my sisters are 8 years younger than me. Their Will was simple, split everything 5 ways. The night we all went into their home together, our Sister-In-Laws had kindly laid everything out on sheets around the house for us to take things that mean't something to us. Oddly enough all 5 of us headed for Christmas Decorations. It was these precious little Ornaments that spoke to all of our hearts, and brought us together as a huge family every Christmas after we'd married and moved away. We let our little sisters choose first. Then the rest of us chose after they were done. There was no arguing or fussing, as we all chose something different that mean't something special to us about the ornament we chose. Those happy memories at a terrible time in all our lives, made us closer as siblings, than I ever dreammed possible. Stick with Alex please, you'll never go wrong with Alex, he is a true example of what Russia is all about, as are the other people I know in Russia & do business with. They are the most helpful and we share many things in common, like our personal Integrity & our love of other cultures and ethnicities. I'd love to sit down and share a cup of Coffee or Tea, with my Russian Friends, everyday like I would if we were neighbours!
