This very large exquisite matryoshka doll (aka babushka dolls or Russian nesting dolls) comes directly from Moscow. Its intricate ornaments will satisfy the most demanding collector. The painted scenes feature country folk having fun, playing balalaika and dancing.

As other nesting dolls, it contains stacking dolls crafted of wood, skilfully hand painted and varnished with gloss finish. The dolls are signed by the artist. The dolls are all hollow except the smallest one, and can hide one inside another.
